Seiyun Mandi Restaurant sits on Al Maktoum Road in Al Muraqqabat, Deira, and serves traditional Yemeni and Arabian Peninsula cuisine. The restaurant takes its name from the city of Seiyun in Yemen's Hadramaut region, and its signature dish is mandi: fragrant rice served with slow-cooked meat or chicken. Haneeth, rotisserie chicken and Arabic desserts are also on the menu. The interior is decorated with textured mud-style walls, wooden shelves, old lanterns and colourful hand-painted chairs, recalling traditional Yemeni homes. The dining hall spans two floors and offers private floor-seating majlis sections alongside regular tables, which suits families and groups. A vintage Toyota Land Cruiser is on display inside. The restaurant is open 24 hours, seven days a week. It offers takeaway and home delivery, and orders can also be placed through Careem, Talabat, Noon, Smiles, Deliveroo and Keeta. It caters for parties inside the restaurant as well as outdoor events. Union and Al Rigga metro stations are nearby.
