Five-time Grammy winner Mariah Carey, widely known as the "Queen of Christmas," will perform at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, on December 12. The show, billed as "Mariah Carey's Christmastime," will feature tracks from her iconic holiday album alongside a selection of her broader hits.

Tickets for the concert start at Dh249. The event is being staged in partnership with Theory Eleven Entertainment, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and Miral, the same group of organisers behind several major international events previously hosted in the emirate.

Carey's 1994 holiday album remains one of the best-selling and most-streamed Christmas records of all time, routinely climbing back up global charts every year as December approaches. Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2022, she has staged her festive concert series across cities in Europe and North America in recent years, but this marks the first time the show is coming to the Gulf region.

Yas Island has grown into one of Abu Dhabi's key venues for major international concerts in recent years, and this booking fits into the emirate's broader push to draw winter tourists through year-end cultural and entertainment events. Abu Dhabi tourism officials are hoping the concert will help pull in visitors travelling for the Christmas and New Year holiday season.
