Dubai Parks and Resorts reopened to visitors on October 7 after a six-month seasonal closure, welcoming guests back to its four parks: Motiongate Dubai, Real Madrid World, Legoland Dubai Resort and The World of Riverland.
Riverland's dining and entertainment district has grown to 14 attractions with the addition of bowling lanes and Lamborghini racing simulators, joining existing activities such as go-karting, archery, axe-throwing and mini golf. Motiongate Dubai has introduced new live shows alongside its existing rides.
T-Rex Glamping, the themed camping experience featuring animatronic dinosaurs, has also returned for its second season, extending the visitor experience into the evening beyond regular park hours.
Fernando Eiroa, chief executive of Dubai Holding Entertainment, said of the competitive entertainment landscape: "We are competitors in a way, but at the same time this is helping the country." Dubai Holding Entertainment has also launched a "Truly Amazing" campaign bundling Global Village, The Green Planet, Roxy Cinemas and The View at The Palm into combined ticket offers.
The operator said the strategy is designed to appeal to both international tourists and UAE residents, with distinct attractions tailored to each audience as the destination works to draw repeat visits across the new season.
