The United Arab Emirates has suspended flights operated by Iranian airlines to and from the country until further notice, a decision affecting carriers such as Iran Airtour at Dubai International Airport. The move comes as regional security tensions continue to disrupt aviation across the Gulf.

Several international carriers have also adjusted their UAE schedules. Air France extended its suspension of Dubai flights, pushing the resumption date from October 13 to October 24, citing an "evolving security situation." A number of regional flights were cancelled on the same day, including Air Arabia services between Sharjah and Kuwait, Sharjah and Bahrain, and a flydubai flight between Dubai and Abha.

The disruptions follow a security incident involving flydubai flight FZ1073, which was travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv when it diverted to Tabuk in Saudi Arabia. In the aftermath, flydubai suspended all flights to and from Israel, and the UAE has stopped accepting passengers whose final destination is Tel Aviv. Emirates has likewise suspended its codeshare flights on the route.

Travellers connecting through Dubai or Abu Dhabi on itineraries touching Iran or Israel are advised to check their airline's website or contact the airport directly before heading out, as cancellation lists are being updated daily. No UAE government timeline has yet been issued for when Iranian carrier flights might resume.
