French chef Yannick Alléno, holder of 17 Michelin stars, opened two new restaurants simultaneously at One&Only The Palm in Dubai on October 19, marking a significant new chapter for the beachfront resort's dining offering.

The first venue, L'Abysse, is the brand's first outpost in Dubai and its fourth location worldwide, following Paris, Monaco and Osaka. The 34-seat restaurant is split across three distinct spaces: a ten-seat sushi counter at the centre of the room, a 16-seat main dining area, and an eight-seat private dining room. The concept blends Alléno's French culinary technique with a Japanese omakase format, led by sushi master Ken Ishihata. L'Abysse is open Wednesday to Monday from 6.30pm, with last seating at 7.30pm.

The second venue, Casea 101 by Yannick Alléno, also opened on the same day, offering a waterfront dining experience inspired by the French Riviera and the Italian coast.

Alléno's arrival in Dubai reflects a broader trend of leading international chefs establishing a presence in the city, reinforcing Dubai's growing reputation as a major global dining destination. Guests interested in experiencing either of the new restaurants can already begin booking tables at One&Only The Palm.
