As the Hindu festival of Navratri approaches, a series of events branded "Dubai Dandiya Nights 2026" will run from October 9 to 20 at venues across the city, bringing together traditional Garba and Dandiya dance with live music and DJ sets. The celebrations have grown into one of the most eagerly awaited annual gatherings for Dubai's Gujarati and wider Indian community.

The festivities are spread across several locations, including the Zabeel Park Amphitheatre, Dubai Creek Park, Radisson Blu Dubai Deira Creek, Salah Aldeen Sports Club in Al Mamzar, ISD Sports Academy in Dubai Sports City, and Amity School in Al Qusais, with individual events running anywhere from a single night to an eleven-night run depending on the venue.

Ticket prices range from Dh20 to Dh65 depending on the event and location. Several promoters, including Dyine Entertainment, Thangals and Parajiya Soni Events, are organising different legs of the citywide celebration.

Performers, many flown in from Gujarat, take to the stage alongside Bollywood-inspired DJ sets, while attendees dress in colourful traditional outfits to join the circular Garba and Dandiya dances late into the night. Beyond the Indian community, the festival has increasingly drawn residents and visitors from other backgrounds curious about the spectacle, reflecting Dubai's broader calendar of cultural events that run in parallel to the city's packed autumn entertainment season.
