The UAE's Ministry of Investment unveiled a new digital platform on Thursday that lists 143 investment opportunities spread across six priority sectors of the national economy, aiming to give international investors more direct and transparent access to the country's strategic projects.
The sectors covered are manufacturing, transport and logistics, healthcare and life sciences, renewable energy, information and communications technology, and financial services. Among the flagship opportunities listed are components manufacturing, a decarbonisation retrofit cluster for transport and logistics, bioprocess input manufacturing, low- and medium-voltage switchgear production, government technology platforms, and instant payment and overlay services.
Announcing the launch, UAE Minister of Investment Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi said the country's focus is on "channelling global capital into priority sectors that strengthen national capabilities, advance economic diversification and support the UAE's long-term competitiveness."
The launch comes against a backdrop of strong recent performance: the UAE attracted $48.3 billion, or Dh177.3 billion, in foreign direct investment in 2025, marking a fourth consecutive year of record inflows. That placed the country ninth globally in UNCTAD's World Investment Report 2026.
Looking ahead, the UAE has set itself an ambitious target of Dh240 billion in annual FDI inflows and a total FDI stock of Dh2.2 trillion by 2031.
Beyond the opportunity listings, the platform includes tools for comparing projects across sectors and emirates, a direct line to ministry advisers, details on investment incentives, and infrastructure information specific to each emirate — features officials describe as part of a broader push to diversify the economy and position the UAE among the world's top destinations for foreign capital.
