Dubai developer Danube Properties has unveiled a new residential tower named after Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Shahrukhz Residences will rise in Dubai Maritime City, with apartments starting at Dh1.65 million under a 30/70 payment plan — 30 per cent during construction and the remaining 70 per cent on handover.

The project's standout feature is its penthouses, designed by interior designer Gauri Khan, the actor's wife. Shah Rukh Khan said the goal was to create a home where fans could experience a lifestyle similar to his own, adding that having Gauri involved made the project even more personal.

Danube Group founder and chairman Rizwan Sajan said the tower brings together luxury, wellness, entertainment and premium design to create what he called a truly iconic way of living.

The building will offer more than 40 lifestyle amenities, including a Longevity Lounge featuring cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a red-light therapy bed and an infrared sauna. Residents will also have access to sports facilities, a children's play area, jogging and cycling tracks, a rooftop King's Club, and a private yacht.

The launch adds to a wider trend of celebrity-branded residential projects in Dubai, as developers increasingly lean on star power to draw buyers toward premium developments in a competitive market.
