Cosmo Developments, a joint venture between Flag Holding Group and Reportage Group, unveiled THE WADI on Monday, a mixed-use residential project on Abu Dhabi's Yas Island with a total investment value of Dh6 billion. The development sits along Yas Canal and spans roughly 140,700 square metres.
The project will comprise 3,950 residential units, ranging from studios to one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Its design is centred on a landscaped central valley that houses walking, running and cycling paths, while parking is placed underground so the surface-level community remains largely traffic-free and family-oriented.
Amenities planned across the site include a waterfront yacht marina, tennis clubs, gyms and spa facilities, dedicated children's areas, restaurants and retail outlets, parks and sports facilities, and a hotel included in the master plan. Units will feature private balconies or terraces, fitted kitchens, tiled bathrooms, double-glazed windows and central air-conditioning.
Andrea Nucera, managing director at Reportage, said THE WADI reflects the evolution of the company's approach to developing mixed-use residential communities. Adnan Tareen of Flag Holding described the project as an important step in Cosmo Developments' vision to create distinctive destinations. The site is positioned five minutes by car from Zayed International Airport, nine minutes from Ferrari World Yas Island, and about 23 minutes from central Abu Dhabi.
