In Abu Dhabi's Big Ticket first weekly e-draw of September, four winners from India, Iran, Pakistan and the Philippines each won Dh25,000. The winners came from varied backgrounds, including an Iranian national residing in Qatar and a Filipina pharmacist based in Abu Dhabi.

Ahmed Zadeh, an Iranian national living in Qatar, was surprised to learn that his winning ticket, number 029553, purchased online just days before the month's first weekly e-draw, had secured him the Dh25,000 prize.

The third winner, Aida Villanueva Centeno, a 61-year-old Filipina pharmacist, has lived in Abu Dhabi for 19 years with one of her three children, while her other two children remain in the Philippines. Aida regularly participates in Big Ticket draws alongside a group of ten colleagues from the hospital where she works. After several unsuccessful attempts, the group decided to take a break, but eventually chose to try their luck once more, a decision that finally paid off. Aida selected her ticket number using a combination of her birthday and her daughter's.

Big Ticket organizers also announced that October's grand prize will be Dh20 million, with the winner to be named on October 3, alongside five other winners who will share Dh1.95 million in consolation prizes.
