Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, president of the UAE Olympic Committee, attended the graduation ceremony of the UAE Healthcare Leadership Development Programme for 100 Emirati Leaders on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The programme was organised by American Hospital Dubai in partnership with Harvard Business Impact.

The ceremony was held on the sidelines of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum, an annual gathering that this year brought together 1,000 leaders from Dubai's government and private sectors to discuss management excellence. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, was also among those present at the forum.

The leadership programme, which graduated 100 Emirati participants, combines Harvard academic training with hands-on experience at American Hospital Dubai's facilities. Participants also visited the Mayo Clinic in the United States during the course to study international healthcare leadership practices up close.

Sherif Beshara, chief executive of Mohammed & Obaid Al Mulla Group and American Hospital Dubai, described the programme's goal as developing leaders "equipped with the strategic vision and expertise required to navigate the rapid transformation of the healthcare sector." The initiative forms part of the UAE's wider push to build Emirati leadership capacity across the healthcare sector.
