Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has unveiled a new festival called UNIFYD, set to take place on March 20, 2027, at Etihad Live on Abu Dhabi's Yas Island. Described as the first event of its kind to bring together India's biggest music names on a single shared stage, the festival will feature more than 15 artists performing across multiple stages.
Among the headliners are Arijit Singh, known for his Bollywood romantic ballads, Punjabi music star Karan Aujla, and veteran playback singer Sonu Nigam, who will be performing at a festival stage for the first time in his career.
Announcing the event, Khan said music carries an extraordinary power to unite people, and that UNIFYD was built to bring together India's most incredible artists on one stage for the first time.
The festival is being produced by D'YAVOL Live and District, in partnership with Abu Dhabi's Department of Culture and Tourism and Miral, with Emirates NBD on board as associate sponsor.
An early-access presale for Emirates NBD cardholders opens on October 19 at 9:30am UAE time and closes the following day at the same hour. General ticket sales begin on October 20 at 10:30am, exclusively through the District app. Pricing has not yet been announced.
The announcement adds another major music event to Abu Dhabi's cultural calendar, one that, alongside the emirate's other international festivals, could draw visitors from across the region.
