The twelfth edition of Dubai Design Week will run from November 3 to 8 at Dubai Design District (d3), organised by Dubai Culture under the patronage of Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Entry to most of the festival is free, making it one of the city's most accessible creative events of the year.

The centrepiece ticketed component is Downtown Design, the fair running from November 4 to 8, with tickets starting at Dh80. The fair brings together international and regional names including Gaggenau, Venini, Ethimo and Kohler, shown alongside regional designers such as Nadine Kanso and Omar Al Gurg.

Beyond the fair, the week features the urban installation Three Gardens and a Room, the group exhibition In Other Words exploring the relationship between language and design, and the UAE Designer Exhibition showcasing homegrown talent. A programme of workshops and a weekend marketplace round out the public offering, alongside a series of outdoor installations scattered across d3.

Natasha Carella, director of Dubai Design Week, described the festival's purpose by noting that "design influences how we live, how our cities function and how we respond to change." Visitors are offered free parking for the first two hours, with valet service also available on-site. Since its launch, Dubai Design Week has grown into a fixture of the city's creative calendar, drawing a growing mix of international designers, brands and visitors each year.
