Ru'ya Careers 2026, a three-day careers and education event, opened today at the Dubai World Trade Centre and runs through the end of the week. The event brings together more than 150 employers spanning over 23 sectors, alongside universities, government entities and industry partners.
This year's theme, "Ready for What's Next? The Future of Work," puts the spotlight on entrepreneurship, innovation, STEM fields, leadership and future workplace skills. The event is aimed primarily at Emirati students, graduates and young professionals looking to explore career paths, university options and professional guidance.
Given the large turnout expected, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has issued an advisory for visitors: plan journeys in advance, use public transport where possible, and take advantage of designated parking at the Centrepoint, e& and National Paints metro stations. Travellers are also advised to keep a minimum balance of Dh30 on their Nol cards for a round trip and to allow extra time for their journey during the event.
Last year's edition drew more than 120 companies, around 15,000 Emirati citizens and 3,000 students, generating thousands of job opportunities for attendees. Organisers hope this year's larger lineup of employers and sectors will mark a bigger step toward preparing the UAE's young talent for the future job market.
