"And Hope Remains," a documentary produced by the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, has won the Digital Documentaries category at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards 2026. The winners' ceremony was held in Cannes, France, on September 23 and 24.
The award was collected by Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Chairman of the Media Committee of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, on behalf of the production team. In brief remarks, he said the film affirms humanitarian solidarity and moral responsibility as the foundation for supporting communities facing disasters, crises, war and conflict.
The documentary previously premiered in October 2025 at the 8th edition of the El Gouna Film Festival in Egypt. It explores stories of compassion amid humanitarian crises and the long road to recovery, while highlighting the UAE's broader commitment to alleviating human suffering and fostering stability through cinematic storytelling.
The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards are considered one of the most prestigious international events dedicated to corporate media production and documentary filmmaking, drawing entries from across the world each year.
