Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) has reported its financial results for the first nine months of 2026, posting record gross revenue of Dh18.6 billion, up 7 per cent year-on-year. Operating revenue grew 3 per cent to Dh9.9 billion over the same period.
Profit before tax came in at Dh6.6 billion, while net profit after tax reached Dh5.6 billion. Total assets rose 3 per cent year-on-year to Dh427 billion, and net financing assets climbed nearly 10 per cent to Dh287.1 billion. Customer deposits edged up 1 per cent to Dh323.5 billion.
On asset quality, the bank's non-performing financing ratio stood at 2.4 per cent, reflecting a healthy loan book. Its Common Equity Tier 1 ratio was 13.4 per cent and its capital adequacy ratio stood at 16.5 per cent, both comfortably above UAE Central Bank minimums.
Fadhel Abdulbaqi Al Ali, Chairman of Dubai Islamic Bank, and Dr Adnan Chilwan, Group Chief Executive Officer, attributed the results to disciplined execution of the bank's growth strategy and diversification of income sources amid a challenging regional backdrop. The nine-month performance cements DIB's position as one of the leading Islamic banks in the Gulf, with management signalling continued focus on asset quality and capital strength heading into the final quarter of the year.
